Anyone have any helpful info on this penny it would be greatly appreciated I've saw lots of errors but not this one.
Welcome to CT it's hard to tell from your pic, it appears that someone stamped it PMD(post mint damage) IMO Dave
I indeed see evidence of your Cent being sandwiched between 2 other Cents. That's why it's important to show all of any coin.
Thank you very much sir. What would have caused that much pressure, why would a person want to do this what would be the benefit. This is a very informative site. I was baffled but makes sense to me.
@Patriot78 Someone that was bored or hates coins http://www.error-ref.com/squeeze-job-or-vice-job-or-garage-job/
So that one day it would be found and be shown on CoinTalk! We have seen many over the years. And sadly being sold on ebay by people who don't know the difference.
@paddyman98 and of course I get to play the fool who thought he made an amazing discovery oh well I appreciate all you guys will post some actual legitimate coins later. Thanks again everyone
Nah @Patriot78 ... play the fool would be the bums who show up, ask us what it is, refuse to listen to intelligent, well thought out, experienced replies and then argue we don't know what we're talking about, they showed it to a coin dealer who said it was valuable, we're just trying to cheat them out of the find of a life time and storm off in a huff... The game there is whether we hit the ignore button faster than they storm off... Anybody who asks questions and participates in the conversation is welcome! Keep looking, really weird stuff IS out there. Remember, every time you see somebody post an incredible error - SOMEBODY found it.
