Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum and have interest in coins. My brother found this coin a few days ago and because of it's appearance he tought it was rare. I did some research of my own, but i could not find anything special. Does anyone know if it's sometype of error or is it just a damaged coin?
Welcome to Coin Talk. This is coin has PMD (post mint damage). It has been damaged after leaving the mint.
I agree PMD OP you would have to ask your self how this would have happened at the mint for it to be an error. You should learn how the minting process works, then you will start having alot more fun. IMO Dave
