Can someone tell me the difference in value between:

2001-S US Silver Proof 10 Coin Set (Red Cover) and the
2001-S US Mint Proof 10 Coin Set (Blue Cover) ??

Are the 2001-S Sacagawea Coins different on each? As you can probably tell by now, I'm kind of a newbie on coins.

The 2001 silver Proof set sells for about $40 - $50 more than the 2001 clad Proof set, depending on where you buy it. The $1 coins in both sets are exactly the same.

REALLY-i seem to recall seeing that set sell for at least twice that price at a number of online dealers,
and as much as $150,where can i find it for $40? i'll take as many as they have for that price.
Especially since the 01 proof SAC alone is valued at twice that much.

Re-read his post, he's not saying they sell for $40, but that the silver sets sell for $40 to $50 more than the clad sets, whatever the price may be.

    I don't think there's a difference.
