    $695 CWR Dimes: 46 (x3), 47 (x2), 50-D, 51-D, 52-S, 53-D, 56, 57, 59, 60-D (x6), 61, 61-D, 62 (x2), 62-D (x2), 63, 63-D, 64 (x8), 64-D (x7), and a 72-S proof.

I went back to the credit union hoping that whoever dropped the dimes had also left behind some quarters... $390 CWR in quarters later, either they didn't or someone beat me to them. :)

I've been mostly half dollar searching recently, and am starting to miss doing dimes... I want to see if i can set up what another member posted about; buying all the CWR from a bank at the end of the week, having the manager emailing him before to know the amount. I feel like that might be a worthwhile cause. I am on backlog with posting my recent pretty good half finds though so stay tuned!

This is the haul for all of 2018 to this point. Been so lean haven’t posted a pic yet but here it is all together. Here’s to hoping things pick up. A34DA472-A59C-4B28-8ADC-59C8F5EC7EE9.jpeg

I went in to pick up my weekly coins and was told that the normal driver is on vacation and they hadn't seen nor heard from the replacement yet. I have a feeling I won't be getting coins this week :/

So a little bit ago I convinced the teller at a bank I don't have an account at to open the vault and let me buy the halves. Well not convince more like, I don't have an account can I still buy the halves.
Anyway it was 430 in MRW and 2 in CRW. This was one of them.

Oh man how could I forget!
In the MWR there was this cool Panama coin. I love finding large foreign coins, because I almost never do!
    20180130_201310.jpg

In my 70 dollars in halves today there was only 1 40%. That's ok though can't win them all. I've been itching to search through large amounts of coins. I think after school tomorrow I'll go searching around for coins to buy. CWR preferably.

@ace71499 - Cool coin! I recently posted about a great half dollar box with lots of silvers. In that box, I also found a Panamanian Medio Balboa like your ender. Mine was a 1975, when was yours minted?

2008, reverse is a little plain for my liking, I prefer the half and quarter balboa from the 70s reverse better

Got yourself a balboa there from Panama! The first time I saw one of those too I wondered what it was. Kept it as it's a great design. Is that one silver? Before 73 I believe they are

I can't figure myself out anymore.
    Messing with copper rolls.
Last two were marked in my old system as 5.
One said "50 stunners !!!" the other "50 quite near perfect!"
Both of them together came up with 53 that might rate mid to upper 5 in my current system.

I did better out of rolls I had marked 4.

    Blows my mind.

So do I... at 900,000 nickels searched, here were my totals:

    jefferson nickels 900k searched 1-29-2018.jpg
I have found exactly one of those...

Well, there's a good reason for that. The two mints made 2.81 BILLION nickels in 1964... From 1938 through 1959, the mints combined made 3.52 billion nickels.

Nice XLS John77. A little more complex than the one I put together and you've got quite the jump on my totals but my ratio's of certain dates are almost identical to yours. That's unsurprising given mintage ratios. But it's still neat to see that others are finding 1940's and 1941's just as often as I am.

Yeah, I'm a math geek... so the marriage of that and my hobby kind of manifests itself in these spreadsheets. I'm on the West coast, by the way. People on the East coast actually find the 40 and 41 coins a lot more often than I do.

The most striking difference though is in the 1955 Philly nickel. Those just don't show up at all here on the West coast whereas they aren't super difficult in the East. 13 different Buffalo nickels have shown up more often than them here!

Alright so, sorta on topic question.
Do vending machines accept Silver quarters. I sometimes spend some time cycling my quarters through vending machines, but I wonder if there's an actually oppritunity to get silver? Just curious if anyone has any experience with this.
