    I’m really hoping somebody can shed light on this sucker! I found it years ago in the til at work. I’m novice at defects and errors... what would you call that? How can I tell if this was a defect? Obverse is abraised revers is imprinted.     Welcome to CT your coin appears to been put in a vice or something to that effect, PMD (post mint damage) IMO.

    Correct.. Damaged
    Another coin was pressed against it to leave an incused impression. This occurred outside of the Mint. Not a Mint Error.
