Is this at glance a legit mint defect?

    Thoughts on this guy? No damage or defect to O just what I assume is cud in the R. Just below “E” you’ll notice the worn but definite bump.

    No cud that's PMD it took a hit at some point, still cool war time nickel. IMO

    There is no divot of damage to the front so I can’t see it being a hit. It petrudes directly out of the coin with no obvious reason.

    It looks like damage to me but a closer pic would tell for sure.

    It's on the far side of the coin and unclear.

    PMD. Looks like someone may have used it to pry something open like a can lid.

    Well there are four R's on the coin but I don't see a cud or die break, or even die chip by any of them. I see damage to the rim by the R in PLURIBUS.

    The line in the middle of what you call a cud makes it appear PMD
