    Do you see a mintmark?

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

I don't see a mintmark. They are usually obvious. The coin is high enough grade that, if there was one, it should be there. If it is a struck-through-grease, I would expect a shiny, untoned spot.

    This is a P-mint coin.

There seems to be an O...but it could be just toning...and it's way too the right..

It seems to have the perfect placement for the second "C" in the Carson City mint mark but what happened to the first "C" I couldn't say

The coin looks toned just enough and just right in the Mint mark area and we see what we want. I can see what looks like.... but there's really nothing there so it is a Philadelphia minted Morgan Dollar.

Yeah, it looks like half of a CC mint mark based on size and positioning -- but our brains are hardwired to see faces on toast and desirable mintmarks in toning.

You'd need a better picture to be sure, but it's most likely just a blotch, I think.

It’s hard to see whether that’s actually raised above the surface. Maybe if we could see a couple of photos lit from different directions?

This photo shows better that there is no mintmark at all different lighting can cause different effects. Have to agree with -jeffB wishful thinking at best
