I just went to my bank and had to purchase a euro bank draft (2800 euros) to pay for a coin I won from Kunker. It cost me (ouch) $4500 Can.:( The euro is almost par with the UK pound now. I am always hearing so called financial gurus saying that our crappy low dollar is good for trade/ being competative. Well, how come that Germany has no problem being "competative" when the DM was 50 cents/ Can./ rose to par with Can. Dollar/ went to euros/ which went from 1.10 Can. to now 1.60 Can?

So, all you members from the EU/UK are certainly way ahead of us in Canada.

It will probably get worse for USD in the next few quarters. When someone says such things like that and a person knows it is false , act accordingly.

Well it wasn't that long ago when the Loonie was .99 US cents.
But now it is .81 cents.
