    i am pretty sure this matches the cuds on coins posting LDB4-1983-003 4F+ It’s a pretty large portion and it appears to be the one on their website. 5A130D7A-41A7-46E1-B1DF-C967B4552C34.jpeg EA90EB72-C3BD-49FB-A611-07F961FBFD35.jpeg

    That must be the biggest BIE I have ever seen!
    Thanks for sharing.

    Does anyone know if this is something to offload on eBay or have it slabbed first? I’m really not sure how minor this is or what it may possibly bring. I couldn’t find any selling prices through research or anyone slabbing it.

    Nice find and a good cud in that area but I don't feel it's worth grading. You'll never get your money back. Congrats!

    It's not a cud because the die break does not involve the rim.
    Definition: A cud is a die break that involves the rim and at least a little bit of the adjacent field or design.

    Don't bother getting it slabbed. I know NGC don't attribute BIE's

    It's a very nice example of a die chip;
    as mentioned above, it's one of the
    largest "BiE's" I've seen.

    Still, it's not worth slabbing, and I would
    say that Ebay is the only venue for it.

    Thanks for the advice everyone. As much as I enjoy it, I will be putting it up for adoption soon.

    It’s up on the old eBay auction block if anyone cares to take a shot at it! The link to my eBay page can be found in my posting in the auction section here on Cointalk!
