I just opened one roll of all 2017 p pennies and found a few like this picture. What is it, and should I save them for any value/
Looks to me like a slight off strike and the circular you see is most likely from a coin rolling machine .
That looks like Zincoln rot spots and end of roll machine striations/PMD to me with a slightly off center strike. I would either spend it, donate it, or toss it in a wishing well. Did you get any gems in the center of the roll?
have not gotten that far yet. wanted to know what was going on with these. I looked under a mag. glass on these and it looks like the plating is missing on the edge.
