are District of Columbia quarters worth anything?

  3. Unless it’s a silver one or a DDR or maybe a super high grade, it is likely worth only face value.

    If it was a beautiful coin, from a normal clad issue business strike, (mint state condition) it could be worth 50 cents to a collector. But a dealer is not going to buy it,
    it's pretty much worth 25 cents. You can hold it for 10,15, 20 years and maybe get 60 cents out of it, but, 25 cents today is worth more than 60 cents in 20 years.

    It was probably widely saved.

    However there were no Gems in mint sets for this year so I'd strongly suggest saving it if it is pristine and well made.

    I got a hole box of these when they came out. Paid face for it at the bank. Still have it. No need to rush to get rid of it as the bank doesn't pay interest. Maybe one day I can open it and sell the uncirculated rolls.
