It’s actually a spacex flame thrower. After selling 20,000 units in 5 days, wonder what premium they will fetch in secondary market?

Correction: it is a Boring Co flamethrower, not spacex.

When I made that comment, I was talking about their statements regarding coins, not their enforcement of the forum’s rules.

They still actually discuss coins after becoming mods? Who knew? They usually descend to a truly "dark" place, bereft of logic or humor. A Dantesque very bad place, my friend.

I think a little clarification is in order here. As I recall that discussion it went kinda like this. You once tried to tell me what the rules meant - how they were to be interpreted. And my response to you was - I wrote the rules so I'm pretty dang sure I know exactly what they mean and how they are to be interpreted. And your interpretation was wrong.

So lemme ask ya, if you wrote something, who would know better what it meant and how it was to be interpreted - you, or somebody else ?

I understand what you are saying...and I probably shouldn't have even said what I said in that post. I guess the whole situation still bugs me a little that's all.

All I was trying to say...then and now...is that some of the rules aren't that clear. They weren't clear to when I was a moderator, they aren't clear today...and I'm not the only one who feels that way. I have read here a number of times people saying the same thing. It's not just me.

When I was younger...I tended to get defensive and aggressive in these kinds of conversations. I think (partially dealing with patients more) I have learned to not take things so personally. Maybe I came off overly pushy...but all I ever meant was I didn't fully understand the policy.

I don't think it's just me. I think a lot of members feel this way about some of the policies. Fortunately, the staff here is pretty easy going most of the time so it's not a big deal.

Yes...you understand them...because you wrote them. But just because you wrote then doesn't mean they are clear to those who didn't write them.

Richie no matter who writes something somebody can always interpret it differently. I wrote the rules trying to make them as clear as I could possibly make them. Short and sweet I did the best I could. But I also had to write them in such a way so they could cover a multitude of situations. And if they need interpretation at times, for anyone, but especially the mods, I am always here to provide it - and I do. Mods and members alike, when anyone has questions regarding the rules I am and always have been more than willing to discuss them openly and in fact do so on a regular basis.

Me too, which is why I have saved it all these years. Another forum member was kind enough to provide it after seeing me being referred to as - The Ogre of the Internet - on another coin forum. A title I have borne proudly ever since :D

But the other one, ahhhhh well, that one is prominently displayed on my living room wall - which kinda tells ya how I feel about that one ! One of the best pictures I have of me. And it's been around so long, that as you can see, it's even on stone !

I need to make you a Yoda one. I have referred to you as a "Coin Yoda" a few times in the past.
