I Love to Trade

The problem I have with these pages, is having to look through all sorts of coins just to see if there are any Ancients offered.

Hmmm, good point. At least the trade forum is hardly used, making finding any ancients listings there easier.

 

Cool couple of coins, Bing, especially that ‘o’ mint Titus. Now of course I’m curious to see what David got in exchange.

 

I've often thought the ancients section could benefit from having its own buying, trading and maybe even general ancient history discussion forums (for researching coin context etc.). Though at some time before I got here didn't you guys have to share with the world forum? If so I guess we should at least be thankful that has changed.

I agree with everyone, a "trade forum" should be more specific.
I'd be open to trade ideas but can honestly only think of one coin of mine that some one might want, not sure I'm ready to part with it.

The Vespasian stands out because of the early Vitellian-like portrait.

The Titus Caesar is rare, rare, rare! I had that denarius for seven years and kept putting off finding it a new home after I upgraded last year. Harry Sneh had it for at least as long as that before selling it to me when he upgraded in 2010. I kept the tradition alive! It's Ex Sayles and Lavender too.

 

I hope to post it soon, perhaps later tonight or tomorrow.

 

I would love to see an ancients/medieval trade sub-forum. I would sure participate.

 

We are very thankful that the management gave us our separate section. I know we are more trouble to them than we are worth as it is so don't see pushing for the separate trade section. Perhaps there is another way using other resources?
