What does "I never such a quarter" mean?

 

the state quarter look gold ...i only know about the silver quarter

 

Quarters were plated with gold, silver and I believe platinum outside of the US Mint and sold as a novelty item. They are considered damaged with no extra value beyond 25 Cents

 

Coins can also tone all sorts of colors depending on their environment.

 

it's worth about 25 cents, plus or minus. Or just plain 25 cents.
ignore any discolorization or Post Mint Damage.
