I have a 1904 liberty V nickel. It’s in a proof set of several nickels. All the prices and auctions I have found are very conflicting on value. Does anyone know what this is worth, or maybe an estimate?
pictures are needed in order to help you with your request. Please post pictures of the coins both individually and as a group.
It takes me a minute to figure out posting the pictures, sorry. Also it’s a silver color, is that right?
I also have a 2003 Arkansas quarter that I’m not sure if it has just normal wear or a lamination error.
That poor nickel spent far too much time under a buffing wheel. Certainly made for a nice shiny finish. But all of Lady Liberty's details are slap gone. I'm sorry, that's not a proof coin. Wish I could post a photo... Put images uncirculated Liberty nickel in the Google bar and you will see the detail that is lacking on yours.
Just a bit of info for ya, These companies took coins and picked out decent coins or whatever , And cleaned some, Polished alot and sold them on TV and in magazines and such. Most of the sets I have are war time I got from a collection I bought. Most sets are worth less than $7.00 Except for the walker Halves melt for them or maybe a few bucks more to someone that wants the war time set but manly Junk.
Thank You guys. I’m really into going through coins lately. It’s really hard to keep up with all the errors listed on the web. Every time I google something it seems like ten new errors. I’m keeping all my pennies lol
nah, I've seen hundreds of these. They're just polished to the point of making the value fall to face
Ok probably driving you guys crazy, but I have a question about this Ike dollar. It doesn’t have a mint mark and pretty sure type 11. I just don’t know if it’s really a proof or if so did they make some without this mark. He found them while cleaning out his parents house. He doesn’t look for errors just dates so he wasn’t interested in these
