What grade would you give this Type 1 1956 Proof Franklin?

I really suck at attempting to grade proof coins. I know it comes down to hairlines and stuff. But I really don't see any on this Type 1 1956 Franklin I picked up today. I know what I would like to call it, but I would like to know where you guy's would be at on it.

I know grading proofs from images is pretty much an act of futility, so I shot this coin using two different lighting techniques. Let me know what you think.

I'm not proficient grading proofs but the first set of images are perfect.

Your first set to my eye and liking....look the best.
True hides the camo but I perfer the wet mirror finish..it will show blems.... or show you exactly what' there a gem coin. Ok I am at 65 but 66 wouldn't surprise me.

It looks like at least a 65 or 66 as I don't see any hairlines. If you cherrypicked it, it is certainly worth trying to grade.

Edit: I would say not a cameo, but still a $100-$135 coin in PF 65

I'm not good at grading proofs but I'd say MS-65 FBL. It's kind of hard to see the last bell line but it looks all there. Nice photos.

It was a cherrypick. I paid $25.00 for it this afternoon at my local shop. I will eventually send it in for grading, along with a big stack of coins that "Need" to go as well. LOL I just don't like parting with coin buying money.

It's definitely a FBL as it is a Proof coin. :)

Good, that's a bonus. I only need 8 more PCGS MS-64 FBL Franklins to complete my set. Errors and varieties not included.

It certainly is far from being a cameo, but it's the first Type 1 I have cherrypicked. So I am pretty excited about it. The surfaces are very clean and I am hoping for it to fall in the 66 - 67 range. Thank you to all who have replied so far. I have a stack of coins to send in for grading when I get taxes back. :)

Is it just me that in the second photo, there is a tiny scratch on Franklin's cheek and therefore it may affect grading? I could be wrong.

Probably 66. Not seeing hairlines. Those hide easily, but I figured you'd show them in photos you're having us grade from if they were there. Nice coin!

It's a magnificent strike. The dies look a little past-it in that second set of pictures, though. Still, I'll go PR67. They don't count bell lines on proofs, BTW.

Minimum 66 and I could see a good shot 67.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

I wouldn't be surprised to see this in a 67 holder.

Yeah I'm with the 67 group. I'll be honest that I have no clue how they grade more modern proofs as I only have experience with older proofs but I just see nothing keeping it below 67.

If you do send in make sure to update the thread as my curiosity levels are piqued
