I am new here and was wonder if we have 1/2 Dime & Dime collectors

I have been working a bust&Seated 1/2 dime collection
Do I have any other collertors here?

I like both Seated and Capped 1/2 dime series, though I've never spent a great deal of time collecting them. In the dime category, I believe the Seated Liberty set is vastly overlooked and can be completed rather easily for little money. Considering the mintages are lower than any other dime series (with the exception of the short-lived Draped Bust), I think it's a great set to work on.

Those two are worth collecting (some of the only US coins with reasonable prices)

 

I pick up Seated dimes whenever I can find one that is not played with.
There are a bunch of great low mintage dates that are greatly underappreciated.

Also, Bust dimes on occassion, but they are few & far between.

 

I used to. But it got too expensive for me. :-(

 

I've started to collect the Seated Liberty Half Dimes (1837-1873). I'd love to be able to complete the set by the end of next year, maybe.

 

I collect seated half dimes but I haven't done so actively in some time. I'm down to just three pieces now. I keep looking at the capped bust half dimes but have never done them (But I have helped two other people put together XF-AU sets.) If I do them it will be by die variety.

 

I collect mercs & roosies and also have a few earlier ones in the collection still got to put the mercs online though

I collect Roosy's & I have a few nice Mercury Dimes too. The Roosevelt Dimes are great because they are pretty affordable in high grades, and I love the way a lot of the silver ones developed rainbow toning.

 

I also have a complete set of Mercury Dimes and Roosevelt Dimes. I'm starting on the Barbers after Christmas.
