How Not to store your coins lol

Was buying the last part of a collection of old coins which had several Whitman albums when I found these Lincoln cents and Indian cents. I guess they decided to save the cost of the album's and just taped the coins onto a piece of cardboard.

That certainly increases the value of that set. Just imagine if the 55 or any of the war timers were heavy hitters??? That would leave a lump in your stomach.

If you decide to remove them from the card, pure acetone should remove the glue residue

 

Those coins are all going to need an acetone bath!

 

Yep. I've seen much, much worse done to coins. Starting with the Boy Scout (?) tip to shine them up with an eraser...
