Another what is it?

I hope this is the right place for this as it looks foriegn or ancient...

Just wondering what it might be. My assumption is that it's an imitation or a copy of something.

I have no experience in these type of coins but I think your assumption is correct. Looks like a copy

 

Can you get a pic of the edge of the coin?

 

Yes, a shot of the edge would be nice. I think I see casting bubbles all around the 'rim' (well, there's no real rim) on what looks like the reverse of the coin.

 

Here's an edge shot. It does almost look like it was cast.
