At first I was thinking DJ done it know he's in debt up to his eye balls. Maybe someday you'll have just like it. Lou
GREAT Coin! That is one geat coin!! CAn someone point out things in the image that caused it to gbe graded a PR64 DCAM. Do my new and untrained eye it looked better than that.

Sweet aren't they DJ? Now for a little story that is true by the way. About 5 years ago a good friend of mine asked if I could look at some coins that belonged to his friends father. Seems he bought them from some outfit in Arizona I believe and they wanted to buy them back. Sure, no problem I said. So they come to my house and the guy is about 80 years old and bought them about 10 years earlier. Nothing much - just a ton of NGC slabbed $20 Libertys and St. Gaudens with a minimum grade of MS63. Then I got a look at the PR65 1881 Trade. MAN even better in person! Glad he stopped by as I got to see some great coins and tell him NOT to sell them back. They were basically offering what he had paid for them! Coins are still in the family as far as I know.
About 5 years ago coins were basically worth the same as they were 15 years ago. So it was probably a fair offer at the time.
? if my new year resolution gets broken in the old year itself DJ will be to blame what a coin though ia m drooling whats a fair price 8 grand? ? haha, just kidding. I wish...[/QUOTE]
lol. They're asking $9700 for it. If only my wallet was just a little bit fatter... What? You mean I shouldn't use acetone for toothpaste? :mouth:
