    What's special about it?
    What the heck is ecrater?
That's a ridiculous price for a normal Dime.

Edit*.. Maybe a tiny Die Chip on head. No premium for that.. It's worth only 10 Cents!

Don't believe everything people try to sell. They make up thier own prices when they no nothing about coins!

Ok.. But that's a ridiculous price. Die chips are common and really don't have any major value.

I agree unless say a ngc or pcgs grades them as mint errors who determines if they are considered mint errors gradeing companies?

I am a member of Ecrater It was started back in the early 2000's I think when we were looking for a different place to sell than ebay.

A lot of us went there for fixed price basically store type sales because ebay changed there fees to more than we wanted to pay. You have to do your homework. I sold Farm type electronics at a fixed price for the same items. But that was 12 years ago probably.. And it has changed. Always check Ebay sold listings first.

NGC and PCGS attribute Mint Errors. That's different from grading. Remember that.

Die Chips are common and not major mint errors. They really aren't such a big deal.

Lol - here's the description from the listing on ecrater:
I have a 2016 P Roosevelt Dime w/unique errors. There seems to be an eyebrow piercing, a nose piercing, and an error in the hair. Also on the rev there is errors. I have never seen another coin like this. I believe it to be One of A Kind. A True Coin Collector will definitely want to add this to their coin collection.

I guess it's not as unique as the ecrater seller claims - he should chop his asking price in half - still, $27.5K for an error coin is a bit optimistic :joyful:

There are thousands of dimes like that available. I have run across at least a hundred in the last six months!

I posted photos in another thread awhile back. "Authorities " in here said it was PMD.
I'll see if I can find that thread . If not I'll post another.
