I'm in the west coast, I have a few 82s. 82-D small date Zinc 82 small date Copper 82-D large date Copper (4) I'm trying to collect all 8 varieties...almost halfway there. I had an 82 small date Zinc but have misplaced it.
Thanks Willy, I don't have a PO Box but I really appreciate it! I think mine is just in one of the other bags of my 80s cents. I'm just being lazy going through them right now. Thanks again tho, that's a really nice gesture.
Yes.. 1 Cent The weight of 2.5 grams means it was struck on a Copper Plated Zinc Cent. All Cents minted after mid 1982 weigh exactly the same. So you have a normal Cent.
There are 7 varieties, unless you are including the 1982-S large date proof. The 1982-D small date copper would be difficult to include in this set, as there are only 2 known out of approx 1 billion. There's no separate mintage for the large date and small date 1982. But the change came at the end of the year and a guess of 1 billion Denver small and 2 billion Philly small should be very close. 10,712,525,000 Philly total 6,012,979,368 Denver total
