I was told once by a know-it-all coin dealer/Dr. that the only coins of Septimius worth owning were the ones from Rome because the ones from 'those other mints' were poor style and he wouldn't have them. I am grateful to him after all these years for all the time I saved by skipping his table at shows. I prefer sellers who take their coins more seriously than they take themselves.
@dougsmit hahaha. One thing I’ve learned is that the people who don’t have a sense of humor about themselves are probably not worth knowing, regardless of how smart they think they are or what inventory they have.
