    Hadrian Denarius Roma 134-38 AD Tellus standing
    Reference.
    Strack 275; RIC 276; RSC 1427 var. (two grain ears on ground).

    Obv. HADRIANVS. AVG COS III P P
    Laureate head right.

    Rev. TELLVS STABIL.
    Tellus standing left, holding plow and rake.

    3.27 gr
    18 mm


    Note.
    Variant for no corn ears in ground to right.

    Do we know of a specific earthquake that may have caused the issue of these coins? It would seem an appropriate issue if a major city had been destroyed.
