Donald Trump Silver Coin

Is anyone aware of any truly legitimate Donald Trump silver 1 oz .999 fine coins? I only see stuff for sale from Chinese sellers, or people here who sell the ones made in China.

I love silver and want to keep buying it while it is under $20 an ounce.

They made one of those "liberty" coins for him, but they aren't anywhere near the price of silver.

 

Elemental made some decent silver rounds of Trump.

Depends on what you mean by "legitimate". Solid silver? Sure. Made and sold by the US Mint? No. Well, not yet, anyway...

 

Is Ecuatorial Guinea a legitimate producer of a Trump silver round? Isn't that the third-world country whose president had a son who was one of the largest importers and consumers of Moet champagne in the world?

I'm more partial to the very rare and very dangerous POLAR Guineas.

 

That coin was issued by (or on behalf of) Equatorial Guinea, so it "qualifies" with regard to the thread title.

There are a number of countries that issue NCLT, such as Equitorial Guinea. If you do a search on Ebay, quite a few rounds show up as well.

 

It's that German mint doing those isn't it?

 

Does Donald approve of those countries?

 

Heres my Chinese plated coin of our President. Cost me 90 cents. That's INCLUDING shipping from China. Why? Because it's awesome.

 

Not sure where these were minted. The (gold and silver) Trump coins were "developed" by CIT (Coin Invest Trust, Liechtenstein) and distributed by Modern Coin Mart (USA). If the gold coin was made using this "Big Gold Minting" technology, it may have been produced by Mayer Mint, a private German mint. But that is a guess, and whether it would apply to the silver coin as well ... don't ask me.

So a quick search looks like CIT is like a product manager. They’ll develop the designs and some of the minting techniques but I think BH Mayer is doing the actual minting with CIT managing the process.
