I have a completed BU set of Jefferson nickels, and yesterday I got a 1941-S nickel in circulation. I compared the sizes of the mintmarks of the one I got yesterday and the one in my Dansco, and the one I got yesterday is the smaller one. I do have space in there where I drop varieties, but now I'm curious. Which is the tougher, and which is the more common type?

Sounds like I need to grab a BU small-S and move my one in the regular hole to the varieties section.

It's always nice when you learn of a variety and fine one in ones' collection

NOT a common event, unless I'm going through about 5,000 cents all at once. :rolleyes:o_O:hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:

Here's why I suspected I had a small S on the circulation one - I had trouble making it out. Either that or my eyeglass scrip is going somewhere in a handbasket FAST!
