I've had this coin for years and cannot find information on it. I found a coin online that was eerily similar being auctioned at $90,000. I'm not that lucky, but would love some background. This coin is silver I'm pretty sure and that's about all I know!

Welcome. Technically speaking, if authentic it is worth in the $100 to $200 range, but I have a bad feeling that it is not authentic.
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/chine_empire-27.html theres a couple here from yunnan that are 7 mace and 2, but yours has a few characters that dont match, so i dont know if its real or a copy...
Be careful the dragon dollar is one of the most highly counterfeited Chinese coins odds are its a fake. I'd do a google search and start to figure out the details to look at to verify that it is real.
Where did you get it? That may give a clue as to whether it might be legit. I wouldn't bet on that. I bought a Chinese Auto dollar that most dealers thought was a counterfeit, but the guy I got it from inherited it from his dad and only paid $25 for it. I sold it for $4500. What does the edge look like. The reeding is the key.
Honestly have no idea where it came from. I found it in my coin box after years. . Very strange. The edging Idk how to describe it. There are ridges all around. I'll take a pic tomorrow.
One side says Yunnan province, but the other side does not have the correct legends for this province. This fantasy/marriage is something commonly seen on modern Chinese fakes such as this one. In China they may not care about counterfeiting coins from other countries, but they care a lot about their own. This may be a way to skirt the laws.
