Very cool! How close is it in regards to weight?

 

Way off LOL I will post the weight of it and a genuine one tomorrow

 

Not really a good casting.

 

Considering it is over a hundred years old, made from a soft white metal I honestly dont think it is too bad LOL

Very nice find....I've got a (copper) fake of an 1816....

 

The details are crude, but without being able to touch it and to feel it, I'd say that it has been corroded by a harsh element (like sea water or an acid).

 

It's actualy quite smooth I believe it was found in a river or a stream, I cant quite remember what the vendor said when I bought it.
