Dimes 1946 - 64

    Aren't the dimes from 1946 - 64 worth about a dollar each?

    Yes they are if the price of Silver stands at $14.40 or so. There are 0.0723 troy ounces of silver in 1 silver Dime 1946-64. You can go to coinflation.com for more information and they have calculators that are useful.

    Yes, most of the lower grades are, but it depends on their grade and mint mark. The 1949 S in AU 50 is about $14.00 and in MS 60 about $40.00. You can not just put a general term or price on a set or group of coins.

    any dime 1945 and older is also silver btw.
