Technically unless he found it on the street or a change cup he bought it. Looks decent for a raw circ. it’s not to beat and nicked. Look the date over for signs of a repunched date there is a couple varieties that year. I have an old finders report that list markers and what not but they should be online no problems to look at. Thanks for the looks and comments, it came from a bank box and the date does not show any of the double markings; it has a couple dings and LIBERTY is not clear on the head band, but a good start to the new year.
