Would anyone know what the value of my 1954 thousand dollar bill is?
How many were put into circulation. I know that the canadian government has been destroying them when they come in but I was wondering how many could still be left out there?
Mine is in OK condition. I also have the one dollar, two dollar, five dollar.ten dollar, and one hundred dolar bill in that series.

There are actually 2 series of the Canadian 1954 issue - the 'Devil's Head' issue,& the modified issue.Which one is your Canadian $1,000 banknote? The reason why I have asked this,as this is a factor in determining the price.Perhaps one of the Canadian members here can help you there.

If the sig is Coyne-Towers then its a devils face (EF-$4000ish)
but most likely its a modified one (EF-$1100ish)

I have a $1000 and three $100 1954 Canadian bills. The sig on the $1000 is Lawson and I believe Bowery. Could anyone give me an idea of what they may be worth? Thank you.

Price,of course, depends on condition. The value of the Lawson-Bouey $1,000 is from face vaue for VG to $1,650.00 for an uncirculated example.Value for the $100's would also depend on the condition and the signatures.
