Picked up this lot of 5 coins for 50 euro total. especially like the man faced bull from Akarnania , the others fit in my Siculo Punic collection. I know Bing and TIF have the same coin from Akarnania , please show your man faced bull coins.
That's an interesting group for the price featuring Kore, Persephone, Zeus and Tanit---not to mention the MH bull. I'll pile on with my version of two of the OP..... This didrachm struck in Neapolis features Artemis and not the other Ladies
beautifull coins, gentlemen. Mikey, I have my Neapolis manfaced bull listed as Persephone on the obverse, with a little Artemis lucifera in the back. looks your coin is about the same.
Well done @Andres2 ! Really like the Punic Issues. I do not focus on Greek much, but your Akarnania MFB is really cool. @Nicholas Molinari interest in Achelous / MFB and sloughed off on me a little, and I keep my eye out for some cool MFB's. Great coin posts/ thanks for sharing.....amazing coins. I have no man faced bulls/ only normal everyday barnyard bulls on more recent coins

I like the Tanit/Horse Carthaginian issues. Still want one of those for teaching the Aeneid. Book 1: There was a grove in the centre of the city, delightful with shade, where the wave and storm-tossed Phoenicians first uncovered the head of a fierce horse, that regal Juno showed them: so the race would be noted in war, and rich in substance throughout the ages... Tanit was the North African Juno.
Mikey I accidently said Persephone , but I ment Parthenope , its in the description with my coin. sorry. Very unusual that Artemis is carrying 2 torches on your coin instead of one as on mine. TIF, That Selinos bull is a masterpiece imho, such a small coin with so many going on, bull is excellent pictured, all on less then 1 gram of silver, amazing. Panzerman, your way ahead , if I include your wonderfull American obsolete banknotes too. I collect obsolete notes too , not US, but greek, and many were printed by the American Banknote Company. Related to this topic, this large note showing the ancient art of bull jumping:
