The Two has a bit of damage and so to be on the safe side I thought I get some confirmation. I would really like this to be a small date but ..... no luck right?

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE!!!!! Explain this to me? I do not understand I have 7 large and small date cents sitting in front of me now. What is the big deal with them? No S I have heard a S may complete this set? But what else does everyone ask this question for?

Somebody on youtube apparently made a video about how valuable the 82D small date copper is. Now, everyone and their mother thinks they have one and have been coming here and asking if they are rich.

I don't believe the S comes in both varieties.
It was made as a proof and they are all large dates.

The two has some damage that made it some ehat difficult to identify. It was possible, not likely but but possible it was a small date so I post to get a more experienced opinion. To all those that seemed to get upset at my post or use my post at an attempt to sound to mightier than thou... i want you all to be “fruitful and multiply” but ...not in those words.

As others have said, it's a LARGE DATE.

So I take it my 7 coins set is not what folks are looking for? Am I to understand that a small date D Cent that weighs 3.1 Grams is what I do not have and Is it out there in reality?

Correct, there is at the moment only a single confirmed example.
