1937 buffalo nickel

    Found this coin roll hunting is the die deterioration, or just wore out or both.

    I would appreciate any info thanks in advance.

    looks like a coin worn from circulation. note the horn on the reverse is about 50% worn off

    Yeah I New it had alot of wear but the date and the five cent got me thinking
    New at this so learning.

    The date is one of the highest points on the obverse and therefor wears quickly.

    Worn, but not that badly. If found in circulation at all these days, these are commonly found slick and dateless.
