Make sure that you add your photo to the Profile Picture setting in the user cp section. It can be found under the avatar section.

Sylvester, There are very few slabs in this house. I break them out of their plastic prison as soon as the purchase is made, if possible, and if not then as soon as I get home. We do have a few items that MUST remained slabbed due to the nature of the slab or information contained on the slab. Needless to say there are few as I avoid them like a contagious disease! Actually when you put things in prospective buying a $2 coin in a slab for $100 is similar to going to the doctor, getting charged $100 for him to tell you what you already knew, your sick!!!

That's exactly the way i view it Terry.

I find slabs patronising, so yeah i might not be a professional grader, but i'll never learn to grade as good if i rely on their say so all along. Plus i find it patronising for them to tell me what the coin is, i should know that myself and i should be able to tell if it's real or not. Plus i never agree with the grade they give on the older British coins. I saw a 1750 sixpence graded as MS63, and i tell you now i wouldn't have graded it one point over EF. To make matters worse they'd then graded a 1758 shilling and graded that one as AU58 despite the fact that, that one was clearly better than the other one. But of course the 1758 ones aren't as rare as the 1750 ones. So were they creating a market? I avoid them.

CoinNut has arms like my nephew, who can bench press 500 pounds and played college football.

I'd like to take Noin Nut with me to anywhere I might have a dispute and need to persuade the other side to come around to my way of thinking.

    :)

Such a cutie! I may need to borrow you for some muscle next weekend if I don't come across some good deals here at the local show.
