Looks like a nice litte Die Crack.
I would save it. But nothing major enough to be sent to get attributed.

Nice find. Definitely a keeper in my opinion.

 

The thing that makes me say it's "a keeper" is the fact that it's a 1983 in really nice shape. There were no regular uncirculated sets that year, and so far, the premium only appears on nice quarters from that year, but I like to "tube up" all really nice 1983 coins I find. Not heavily circulated junk, just nice ones. Your die crack only reinforces the idea.

Yeah i agree kirt. A really good struck coin. Good call on it being a 83. Does the forehead behind his eyes look really deep. Looks strange to me
