    Season 3 was written to include the conquest of Germania Magna under Drusus. Desaster struck when the whole Rome scenery was destroyed by an accidental fire after the completition of season 2. Rebuilding of it would have resulted in an explosion of costs so it was discontinued instead - to the dismay of the main actors who could have become major stars.
