South East Asia Series - First modern silver coin of Thailand

    Thanks.. this is silver but golden toned. It is graded NGC AU58. This is an early Thai baht issued during Mongkut..

    I always wanted one of these, but these get expensive. it would have to be graded by NGC or PCGS too because there are a lot of fakes out there. I could not afford 1 now anyways because of a hospital bill.

    If you are not fussy about condition, 1 bahts are fairly easy to get slabbed at reasonable prices. The 2 bahts on the other had can get pricey.
