1953 S Error Coin ?

    This coin has seen some better days. Just curious do you guys think this is an error coin or just damaged ?

    Damage. Someone was possibly trying to make a ring out of the coin.

    Welcome to CT. This us PMD (post mint damage) not a mint error. The coin looks like someone spooned it (tapped on the edge) usually to start the process of making a ring. It could also have been caused by a substantial time stuck in a dryer.
