Post your 3 Cent Nickles

I'm a big fan of less popular US coin series and the 3 cent nickel is at the top of my list right now as I try to put together a complete set. Share photos of any 3 cent nickel's you have.

Here’s my lone 3-cent nickel:

I like your project. I guess the 3 centers (both nickel and silver) get short shrifted. But they are neat coins.

 

My pockets have to get a lot deeper before I get the 1884 and 1885 business strikes with only 1000 minted. Proofs are easier to get.

 

With only 24 years and one mint involved, would an all-proof set be possible without family ties to the Vanderbilts?

 

I would hope so

 

At least proofs were purchased by collectors and have a better chance surviving over the years.

 

I sold most of my proofs before I retired but here's one I purchased a few years back.

Paddy, both of those 3's look the same. What is the marker for the closed?
