Will ANAC ever include foreign coins in their specials??

I've been watching their specials and they are always for USA coins only. They seem to be volume oriented and including foreign coins could help their sales

I'm with you. I have some coins that aren't worth a lot, but I would like them authenticated or certified for various reasons. Hate to spend a lot on slabbing though, so if anacs would match their U S offers I would seriously consider a few dozen world coins.

I swear they've allowed it before or it was fine if you slipped one or two in. They don't do anywhere near as many world coins as PCGS or NGC though, so it's probably a lot harder for them to just power through them like they do with what usually gets submitted on their specials.

    I agree.

Id like it if they had the deals on them. A lot of foreigns I have are common but I really like the design or they have a good story so I want to slab em but hate to pay a ton.

I agree. I think they can do very well as a company targeting low value coins with the cheap submission specials and are missing out on a big chunk of that with how popular world coins are

Just because it's low value does not mean TPGs can lower their standard and skip their process of detecting counterfeits. Sadly with the amount of super counterfeits popping up likely from China and Eastern Europe - it's making coin collecting so much harder. I can't imagine how graders need to study to keep up the game.

I have had some success asking for discount pricing from ANACS when speaking face to face with a rep at a local show. I don't have a huge volume of coins to slab, but I will put them aside until there are about 20 or so that I want slabbed and then they can usually give something of a discount, even if they are only advertising the discounts as being for US material. It helps if all the items are similar or modern (defined by ANACS as post-1950).

LOL, post-1950 ? Most of my collection of foreign coins is pre-1850.
