$220 in CWR halves plus $1 loose from 3 tellers at 1 bank yielded only 3 NIFC.

Stopped at a couple banks after getting my car serviced.
    Got a total of 3 halves, including 1 1964
And 8 Ikes (which she almost sold to me as halves but I figured it was the right thing to tell her that they were dollars). One was a golden toned BU bicentennial!

Double Die I know just enough to be dangerous

Took a chance at a flea market on a couple rolls of 1992 Lincolns ($1 per roll) and between the both of them, I got almost a full roll of these different die cracks on the backs. Some are through the "T" in UNITED, and some through the "I".

Trish will in fact buy my box of pennies.
If only I were able to buy online. 10 real boxes at Amazon would be swell. Wonder if the second bank in town will have a box tomorrow. We'll see.

    I finished off the year with 10 40%ers and 2 1964 half dollars. First box had 4 40% and 2 90%. The 2nd box had 6 40% halves. 20180103_143042.jpg

This one was found in a roll of 61 D's. Notice the protrusions at the bottom of Abe's coat. Houston I think we have a wardrobe malfunction...nip slippage. Is this MAD or a different acronym?

Tonight I picked up $190 in MWR halves from 1 bank, and $6.50 in loose halves from another.

    1, ‘68D in the MWRs
    Zilch in the loose

My first silver half of the year, so I’m happy!

Sold my made up box of pennies to Trish and was able to buy one at the second bank. Of the first 5 rolls from that box nothing newer than 2010 but conversely nothing older than 61. Seems to be a higher percentage of keeper copper.

Oddly 3 banks I ordered halves from last month failed to call me when my order arrived.

I called them today and found only 2 banks received part of my order, so I’ll pick up $580 worth of halves tonight.

I’ll give a report here after I search them.

Through 7 rolls the highest was 2011.
Back to it after work tomorrow.

    afm1982 Miami has the Dolphins...

Bank had a single CWR of halfs. One of the coins was a 1966 Bahamian 50 cent. The other 19 coins were nothing special.

Should I feel cheated for the roll being short $.50 american?

I consider the odd foreign coin interesting and enjoy researching them afterwards. Much better than getting a washer!

Sorry, in my head the post was more sarcastic. Its not just the odd foreign coin, but the odd foreign silver coin! Of course I don't feel cheated.

I should have included something like #Iheartforeignsilver

Ended up picking up $690 worth of halves at 2 banks tonight. $580 in MWRs, and $110 in CWRs.

So far I’ve looked through only the $90 in CWRs from 1 teller. She was sitting next to the teller I was working with to pickup up $80 in MWRs, and she overheard me ask if any other tellers had halves so she offered them to me...of the $90 in CWRs she sold me, $88.50 were 40%ers!!! The odd 3 copper coins in her batch were ‘71Ds.

I don’t care if I find nothing in the remaining halves because this is my single best silver find in 4 years of searching...HH everyone!

Thanks TxAg, I felt I was due for a big score, but I never thought it would break my previous record!

Roll 8 gave a very good 2013. Roll 9 gave a dull but clean 2015. Up to 15 the highest was 2012.
