I searched through $20 of rolled Canadian nickels this evening. Not too much of note but did come across $2.40 in US nickels, 2 - 20 pence pieces, 16 - 2005 V nickels, and 3 pre-1955. I would like to know what you all think of this 1929 found in the 9th roll. Happy searching everyone!

Very nice find! I've found only one GV nickel in two years worth of searching myself. Sounds like you had a pretty decent haul there. I stopped saving the 2005 V nickels after a while, though. Now, go get some more nickel rolls!

Yeah, its not worth keeping the V nickels. Keep one maybe. Nice find though! I always get excited when I find a george. Only ever found one on a nickle, but it was a '55

Hey, I bet you are the people to ask about my canadian nickle. I have a 1926 near date that grades XF. What are those worth nowadays anyhow???

Somewhere in the vicinity of $50-80 depending on the price guide you use, if it really is XF. All of my GV nickels are lucky to be better than a G, and I'm missing the 1925, and both 1926's.

wow nice. I was thinking around $50, but dont have any sort of price guide to go by. I only looked at a few in similar grades on ebay. Yea, I got that nickle out of a coffee can ofcoins that my grandmother had. I found almost all the pennies I needed to fill a folder too. Well I found every single penny except for some of the ones from 1980 to date. She had thousands of dollars worth of change in coffee cans that she let me look through. I just had to roll it for her and I could keep whatever I wanted. I found alot of nice stuff. Quite a bit of silver too.

Well, ANY coin from 1925 will be worth a lot. Even a 1925 penny in good condition goes for over 15 dollars.
