Has a steel appearance, but not magnetic so it leads me to believe the copper coat has flaked off. Sounds like a steel penny when dropped. The coin is convex like its been hit or pressed to be that way. Not sure what's going on here.

1972 Lincoln - This coin has a strange finish as well as color. Its extremely shiny and gold like. I have a 1987 D with a similar color pictured with the 72 so maybe not as unique as I think. Thoughts?

Other coins are pictured for comparison. Thanks
