I've had this for a couple of years and was one of my first ancients purchases. I didn't go down this path with my collecting and has sat on the back burner for all this time. Until my SS this year sent me a Trachy from Alexius III this Constantine sat almost forgotten. When I left off trying to properly attribute it I think I was on to something but not sure. Going through my notes this is what I have. Constantine X (Over strike) Ae 25/6mm, 4.4g, 6h EMMA NOVHΛ Christ standing facing, IX XC across field. KWNT ΔΚ ΕVΔΚ ΑVΓΟ Eudocia left Constantine right both facing with cross between So, my questions are am I close to right and can anyone please tell me what its over struck on?
