I've had this for a couple of years and was one of my first ancients purchases.
I didn't go down this path with my collecting and has sat on the back burner for all this time.
Until my SS this year sent me a Trachy from Alexius III this Constantine sat almost forgotten.

When I left off trying to properly attribute it I think I was on to something but not sure. Going through my notes this is what I have.
    Constantine X (Over strike)
    Ae 25/6mm, 4.4g, 6h
    EMMA NOVHΛ
Christ standing facing, IX XC across field.
    KWNT ΔΚ ΕVΔΚ ΑVΓΟ
Eudocia left Constantine right both facing with cross between

So, my questions are am I close to right and can anyone please tell me what its over struck on?

Thanks, Happy New Year, and pile on :D

    Attribution is right:

    Byzantine Empire: Constantine X Ducas (1059-1067) Æ Follis, Constantinople (Sear-1853; DOC-8)

Obv: +ЄMMA NOVHA; Nimbused Christ standing facing on footstool; IC XC to left and right
Rev: +ΚШΝ Τ ΔΚ ЄVΔΚ ΑVΓΟ; Eudocia and Constantine standing facing, holding between them a labarum with a cross on shaft set upon three steps

The above was a replacement for the one that got stolen during transit :bigtears:

A clearer picture is needed for me to determine what the host coin is, but they are typically overstruck on Anonymous Class C, and sometimes B and D coins:

    Thank you,
That opens the door for a lot of looking and comparing work. Not my area and completely out of my realm, suprised I had the attribute correct.
Will see what I can do with photos.
