    Hey all. So it's looking like my DD Lincoln cent is actually a s/d... 69.jpg 69soverd (2).jpg 69soverd.jpg 1969.jpg

This is the true 1969 S Doubled Die you need to look for -

His eye and the date look doubled to me...and the pics don't capture it the best but it looks like the bottom part of an S is stamped on the D

There were no OMM ( over mint mark) for that year, in fact the last was 1958 if I recall correctly. It is just a D. Sorry, the photos don't show enough details on the eye or date, but they appear normal at this size. Jim

1955 d ddo - Would you think this had any value to it?

Sorry, but neither this nor the 1969 d are error coins. They’re both just regular circulated cents that show wear. They are not ddos and as stated above, there was no omm for 1969 d.

Can anyone help me with this penny. Looks like an error but I’m not sure.

What you're seeing is the result of an overused die and is fairly common on cents of that general era.

Patience is a virtue, sir. Please do try waiting more than a single minute before becoming impatient because no one has yet answered your question.
