    Merry Christmas Eve everyone!

My wife knew my coin photography skills needed some help! The LimoStudio Lighting Kit. . .

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

Nice setup. What kind of lights are those? What kind of camera do you use?

Can't wait to see the results!

    Thanks guys!

Our 14th wedding anniversary is on December 27th, so between the time invested AND the lighting kit, I think I’ll hang onto her! ;)

The lights are LED and came with the kit (I don’t see a brand name on them). For now, my camera is my iPhone or iPad.

Anyone have any iPhone setting tips (6s plus) for photographing coins?

    Stork I deliver

Remote shutter release. I have a cheapo bluetooth device. I hear the headphone controls can do it too.

Ok, here’s my first go with the new set-up using an iPhone. I need your tips and constructive criticism. . . I obviously need more practice!

I think my biggest disappointment to this point is the lack of detail on the reverse of the Peace Dollar.

I can’t capture the feather detail on the eagle. I tried a macro lens but can’t get the entire image in the picture.

Any suggestions? Is this as good as it gets with an iPhone?

I placed the lights on the outside of the box shown in the first post of this thread. Are you suggesting doing that AND using coffee filters?

Filters make the light softer and brings out details.

I’m still experimenting with my new setup. Looking for feedback and opinions.
