    Excellent coins and post :)

If not for CT, and Doug, I wouldn't have as many FH I think.

Hmmmm... well, I collected Roman Republic, Carthage, Makedonwn, etc. before I came to CT. However, I LEARNED a lot more, and focused more in those areas. Due to everyone's craze for the Empire coins, I expanded there a bit. Recently saw a few Tets (Tetartemorions), so I have been having a little fun exploring that area:

Earlier, there were discussions about the ancient Greeks carrying them around in their mouths when they went to market. I thought that was a cool idea, so instead of carrying a coin in a saflip, I carry these around between my cheek and gum... :) tongue-in-cheek comment...

I captured this one because of @TIF ... right in my collecting focus, and some fascinating history as to why it was minted.

Who cares what they look like compared to a dime... Moderns are BORING.

    Thanks.
I have a Carthage in my sights in a current auction and may just be my first coin of 2018 time will tell. It also is an obverse of Tanit.

OK, you know best. If that's really what you prescribe, send it over; I am willing to swallow and retrieve. (Though I'm a tad worried about the serrations...)

You learn something every day on this forum. I thought we only liked big tets, but it turns out we like small ones too. I love all your small tets!

Very nice set of coins SA, very diverse each very interesting in their own right. Especially like Maximinus II holding head of Serapis, great detail.
