the "Heritage Collectibles and Auctioneers" site. They have some real nice coins for auction. Look to be high in price but they have some rare coins going up for auction. Jan. 12th I believe.

I have bid on a number of things from Heritage (and almost won a couple). The only auctions that seem to be worthwhile are the Internet Only auctions. For the other auctions, although they accept on-line bids, the coins are then put up at floor auction where they almost always get higher bids and the internet bidding is closed prior to the floor auction.

I go there every now and then---I've thought about signing up so I can bid on a S-VDB but my S-VDB fund was depreciated yesterday for a 12 string guitar :D :D

Oh well I'll start it again.

In my opinion Heritage is an excellent company and provides top-notch service. I have purchased many coins from them and I have consigned coins with them to be sold. I've never had a complaint other than sometimes their pictures are not of the best quality.

And I do not think them to be high priced at all. Completed sales on the Heritage site provide very accurate values in my opinion. And before someone asks - yes I have won items in the live floor auctions by bidding on-line. If your on-line bid doesn't win in a live floor auction it is because you didn't bid high enough to reflect its value or somebody just wanted it more than you did.

I've had excellent experience with Heritage, both in their live auctions and their internet auctions. I would definately recommend using them if you see something that suits your fancy.

I've picked up a few things from Heritage, both fixed price and at auction. The main downside for me is that I have to pay 8.25% Texas sales tax when I buy from them -- so I usually have to think a deal is pretty good (or I want the coin really bad) to buy there.

I like the internet auctions only and I have picked up a few very nice coins. Also, I really like the "My Collection" area where I can keep and see a current value of my collection. It is free and I recommend all take advantage of it.

All in all, excellent experience. Fortunately for us in Florida...we do NOT have sales tax on U.S. money. 8.25% Ouch! Like I always said, "You can't tax yourself into prosperity."
