I searched through 1,000 pennies over the past few weeks, and I've found some interesting things. Nothing amazing, but still some cool finds. This coin is so messed up that I doubt it's worth anything, but it looks like it has a cool error. My scanner just doesn't scan the best pictures, but I think you'll get the gist of it... It looks like a 6 over a 5, maybe a 6... The back is kinda odd too. Wish this was a BU coin....
It's a plating blister, common with zinc cents not an error. And that has a lot of zinc rot. Thanks, Jacob
Yes, it is very corroded. I've seen a lot of lamentation blisters this one looks different. Anyway, I shared it because it looks kinda cool. As many say here on the forum, "Interesting conversation piece." I took one more picture with my cell and my magnifier just to show a better angle...with all the bubbles on the surface, you're likely right.

Well, when you're searching coins, and you haven't found anything interesting in a while, it's kinda cool to find something that at least looks different. It raises the attention levels...lol So, maybe it is a lucky coin!
